According to the latest reports from the Emergencies Ministry of Russia, 10 people were killed as a result of a methane explosion in the Listvyazhnaya coalmine in the town of Belovo (the Kemerovo region) this morning. Twenty-three injured miners have been taken to hospital. Sixty miners have been evacuated to the surface. In total, there were 103 people in the mine at the moment of the blast. Nine groups of mine rescuers are participating in the rescue operation to save the missing miners now.
