Male stripper faces charges after abusing Russian national flag

 

A criminal case was filed against a male stripper from the club "Base" of the city of Novomichurinsk. The young man is accused of abusing the Russian flag, which he wrapped up around the hips during his performance.

The incident took place on September 23, and was seen by member of the Novomichurinsk City Council of the Ryazan Region, Igor Lobanov.

The stripper was reprimanded by the club management, but now the man faces restriction of liberty for up to a year, coercive work for the same term, or arrest up to six months under "Abuse of the state coat of arms or the national flag."
