Hearings of the case of Salman Raduyev and his accomplices have resumed in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan (Russia's republic on the Caspian coast). About 20 sufferers and witnesses were called to testimony on Monday. Police General-Lieutenant Valery Beyev, the former Dagestan Deputy Interior Minister, and several Dagestan policemen will give evidence on the events in Kizlyar and Pervomaiskoye village (the Khasavyurt district) in January 1996.
