Peter Arnett Joins Staff of Arab TV Channel

Piter Arnett, the reporter NBC dismissed for giving an interview to Iraqi TV, will continue working in Baghdad as an employee of the Arab satellite TV channel Al-Arabiya. He joined the staff of the TV channel on Friday, Al-Arabiya's News Department Director Saleh Najm told the Saudi press.

The US reporter also represents the British newspaper Daily Mirror and a Belgian TV channel.

Arnett fell into disfavor and was dismissed from NBC after giving an unbiased comment on the situation in Iraq.
