Vladimir Putin Greets Russian Antarctic Expedition On Their Reaching South Pole

Vladimir Putin has greeted the Russian Antarctic research expedition on their reaching the South Pole. The Kremlin press service said that on Tuesday Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with State Duma vice-speaker Artur Chilingarov. He is a member of the expedition to the South Pole. Chilingarov reported that the expedition has reached the South Pole and gave details of the feat. The Russian president greeted the Russian expedition and wished more successes in the new year.
