Lady Gaga won three prizes at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday, claiming Best Female, Song, and Pop honors, just a year after taking the plaudits for best new act.
The ceremony converted two of the Spanish capital's most iconic landmarks into glittering venues from which to present its 2010 honors, according to The Associated Press.
Gaga previously won eight trophies at September's MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.
The MTV European Music Awards ceremony, held at the Caja Magica stadium in Madrid, was hosted by Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria.
Other big winners included Justin Bieber won two EMAs, for Best Male and Best Push Act. Other winners in the viewer-voted awards show included Eminem, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, and Global Icon honorees Bon Jovi, RTT News says.
