Young spacemen drinking water from "Gagarin well"

The demonstration was held near the monument to first spaceman Yuri Gagarin on Sunday in his hometown of Gagarin, Smolensk Region (the West of Central Russia), marking the 30th readings timed to coincide with the birthday of the world's first spaceman. Space pilots have arrived in Gagarin. Among them are Vladimir Kovalenok, Yuri Baturin, Vasily Tsybliyev, and Viktor Afanasyev. They are holding meetings at schools, enterprises and museums of the town. Young space pilots from the Training Centre visited the village of Klushino, the birthplace of Yuri Gagarin, to drink the water from the Gagarin well to observe the space tradition. The Komsomolets concert hall will host the four-day scientific readings.
