An awarding ceremony will be held in the Kremlin Palace of Congresses on October 12 on the occasion of the Day of Workers of Agriculture and the Processing Industry. State awards will be presented to the merited workers of the branch by President Putin, Alexei Gordeyev, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation said at a Moscow press conference Wednesday. The holiday will be marked in Russia on October 14. Gordeyev also said that a Russian agro-industrial exhibition will be opened in the All-Russian Exhibition Centre on October 13 as part of the agro-industrial week being marked in the country. Russia's Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov is expected to open the exhibition.
