The Chechen republic government has reported that German specialists have completed the construction of the first of four schools in the Nozhai-Yurt region in the east of the republic. Regional leader Isita Gauribekova said that all the village's residents had helped to build the school. They also guaranteed the Bavarian specialists' security. The school has automatic heating and electricity, six large classrooms, a library and canteen. The Germans also donated furniture to the school, along with computers and accessories. Gudermes saw the completion of a grammar school construction project yesterday for 1,100 students, while a school with room for 1,200 pupils was also handed over to the local authorities in Chervlenaya-Uzlovaya.
