Women begin to dominate American big business and politics

According to the Washington Times, women chair three major companies - military contractors of the Pentagon. An increasing number of women continue to take senior positions in the areas dominated by men.

It goes about such companies as General Dynamics, BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin. Apparently, the changes in the administrations of these giants are connected with the difficulties that they have to deal with due to sequestration of the budget.

Three new female leaders, Marillyn Hewson of Lockheed Martin, Phebe Novakovic of General Dynamics and Linda Hudson of BAE Systems, will have to face serious questions of how to reduce supplies and stay afloat at the same time.

Indeed, women more and more often take powerful positions in the U.S., including on the political arena. In January it was announced that the Congress had a record number of female senators.
