Officials in the Omsk region of Russia launched investigation into an unusual incident that occurred at a local cheese factory. The case was filed after an employee of the factory uploaded a photo on the net showing other employees of the cheese-making factory bathing in a tank of milk.
The picture, on which five men were seen sitting in a tank of milk, had the following caption: "Bathing in a tank of milk, for the production of smoked cheese. That's why the cheese is salty."
As it turned out, the workers celebrated New Year holidays bathing in milk. A video of their party was found soon as well.
Investigators paid attention not only to the fact that five naked men climbed into the milk tank. The situation at the factory attracted attention as well. Dilapidated walls, dirty plastic pots, and rusty pipes displayed unsanitary conditions of production.
The news caused outrage among the locals, as the above-mentioned smoked cheese, known as "kosichka" ("pigtail") enjoys great popularity among Russians.
The factory has been closed for 90 days for further investigation.
