Exposition of works by disabled children and orphans opens in Moscow

The Public Charity Foundation "Child's Glance" dedicates its 22nd exhibition to the 10th anniversary of establishing the International Day of Disabled Persons in Russia. This foundation promotes the creativity of disabled children.

An exposition of works by disabled children and orphans is presented at the Krymski Val branch of the State Tretyakov Gallery.

The exhibition was blessed by Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexis II, painter Natalya Kazak, the foundation's co-ordinating manager told RIA Novosti.

Subtle taste and rich fantasy distinguish the 300 works by young painters featured in the exposition. Their authors are handy with watercolour, gouache, crayon, oils, embossment, and application. The people working with disabled children are educationaries, Kazak stressed. Thanks to their efforts, creative work becomes real cure for the children.

Every time, the foundation's staff members make a festival of the exhibition. They prepare a special concert programme with games and clowns, competitions, and sweet presents for the children invited, whose number is usually around 500.

"Child's Glance" is patron of over 60 special schools and centres of disabled persons' rehabilitation.

More than 5.8 million people voted for Nicholas Maduro at the presidential election in Venezuela. This is more than a quarter of registered voters. Why did those people vote for the man, who, as Western media write, took Venezuela to the brink of collapse?
