In Stockholm, Sweden, new traffic signs have appeared warming drivers to pay more attention to those who cross the road while staring into the screens of their smartphones.
"Attention: People with smartphones" traffic signs were created by Swedish artist Jacop Sempler.
When Jacop was going to work one day, a car nearly ran him over as he was crossing the road staring at his phone. He then realized that he was not the only person with this behavior, so he decided to do something about it, Swedish publication The Local said.
The artist hopes that passers-by will pay more attention to their behavior on the road.
