A passenger elevator collapsed at a luxury residential complex in Moscow on January 14. A woman, who was staying inside the elevator, was killed on the spot.
The accident happened at "Scarlet Sails" elite residential building in the north-west of Moscow. For reasons that yet have to be established, the cabin of the passenger elevator fell from the height of the seventh floor.
The woman, a mother of two children aged 2 and 8, died immediately from injuries. She was a daughter of a well-known Russian TV presenter.
A criminal case was filed into the accident.
