Russian And Ukrainian Presidents Visit Kharkov State Aviation Enterprise

Russian and Ukrainian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Leonid Kuchma on Friday visited the Kharkov state aviation enterprise. The heads of state inspected shops which manufacture An aircraft. These liners are built in close cooperation between Russian and Ukrainian plants. Putin and Kuchma went to the shops for preliminary and final assembly of planes and the technological design bureau. At the end of the inspection the presidents made entries in the distinguished visitors' book and were able to see finished airliners on the tarmac. During the inspection the heads of state, together with specialists, discussed how to deepen co-production ties and speed up the joint development of a new generation of aircraft.
