Britney Spears Is Off The Charts !

  Britney Spears is loyal to her fans and enjoys their affection as always.  Singer has gone straight to number one in the US chart with her latest single 3.

  She is the first artist to debut at the top of the Hot 100 chart in more than three years, according to Billboard.

  "I am truly blessed with the greatest fans in the world and I am so happy y'all love it because I do this all for you," the star told fans.

  The track is the only new song included on her new greatest hits CD, which is due for release next month.

   The song was produced by Max Martin, who has previously written tracks for Britney including Baby One More Time, Oops!... I Did It Again and Stronger.

  The song was given four stars by Rolling Stone magazine, who called it an "instant Britney classic."

  Britney has had five number one singles in the UK.   She is currently on tour, promoting her comeback album The Circus. Reported by BBC News.
