Bolshoi Theater acid attack victim returns to work

 

Sergei Filin, who received more than 20 surgeries after an acid attack, returned to work at the Bolshoi Theater. He is going to take part in the meeting of the troupe on Setember 17. On September 16, the artistic director of the Bolshoi Theater attended the auditions for the ballet group.

In January of this year, someone splashed acid in Sergei Filin's face. He was hospitalized with third degree burns to the face and eyes. Afterwards, he received treatment in Germany, where specialists restored 80 percent of his eyesight. Filin returned to Moscow on Saturday, Sept. 14.
