Next session of Princess Diana inquest set for March 5 to consider procedure

The retired judge leading the inquest into the death of Princess Diana and her friend Dodi Fayed has scheduled the next session for March 5, officials said Wednesday.

Baroness Elizabeth Butler-Sloss, a retired senior judge, is heading the inquest into the deaths of the couple in a car crash in Paris in 1997, reports AP.

She ruled on Monday that she would not call a jury to deliberate on the case.

"The purpose of the (next) hearing will be to demonstrate in court the computer virtual reality scene which will be used at the main hearing, to decide the scope of the inquests and which witnesses are to be called to give evidence. The hearing may last more than one day," the Court Service said.
