Brad Pitt created a furore with his appearance on the red carpet at the 35th Moscow International Film Festival. Many fans, who knew of the arrival of the Hollywood celebrity, came to get autographs and take pictures with the star.
The Hollywood actor, wearing sunshades, signed autographs for everyone and posed for pictures with his fans. One of the fans was so taken aback at the sight of the famous actor that Pitt had to help her take the photo with him, ITAR-TASS reported. Pitt spent about half an hour on the red carpet and talked to reporters, although he initially refused to communicate with the press.
The director of Estrada Theater, Gennady Khazanov, a well-known Russian actor and comedian, also appeared on the red carpet. He recollected, in his usual humorous fashion, impressions of his youth on the MIFF: "When Fellini was presented his motion picture "Eight and a half" at the International Film Festival, I tried to get a ticket to see the film. I got the ticket and saw the film, didn't understand anything, so I really liked the Moscow Film Festival."
