59% of Russians have a negative attitude towards the appearance of very rich people in their country. A further 39% are indifferent to the phenomenon, while only 6% are pleased by it and a mere 3% proud of it. These are the results of a poll carried out by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Centre. One in four Russians views the mega-rich with hatred and one in five with irritation.
1600 people, aged over 18, took part in the poll.
