Can Elton John perform in Russia?

Coordinator of the Union of Orthodox Brotherhoods of the Russian Orthodox Church, Yuri Ageshchev, said that the Russian authorities should take action against Elton John's concert in Moscow.

According to the Orthodox activist, the performance of the artist is a mockery of both the government authority and the law that bans gay propaganda in Russia.

Elton John's concert is to take place on December 6 in Moscow's Crocus City Hall. The musician said that his concert in Russia would be an expression of support for Russian gays.
