Chinese sky lanterns to be banned in Moscow


According to the Russian EMERCOM, Chinese air lanterns have caused numerous fires on the territory of Moscow this autumn. The department appealed to the metropolitan government with a request to ban sporadic flights of fire hazardous objects. 

Recently, it was reported that a sky lantern landed on the territory of Mosfilm film studio, setting fire to studio designs.

The final decision on the problem has not been made yet.
