Ex-Oasis singer wants Johnny Depp in his Beatles movie. 44428.jpegThe musician Liam Gallagher has said he'd like Depp to play the Beatles' publicist Derek Taylor in the forthcoming adaptation of 'The Longest Cocktail Party'.

Beady Eye frontman and ex-Oasis singer  wants Johnny Depp to feature in his film about The Beatles.

Gallagher is currently working on producing an adaptation of the book 'The Longest Cocktail Party: An Insider's Diary of the Beatles, Their Million Dollar Apple Empire and its Wild Rise and Fall', informs Telegraph.co.uk.

In an interview with Q magazine, Gallagher said:

"The film script is done. It's gonna blow people's minds, man. I'm just waiting to find out when we choose the actors.

"I want Johnny Depp to play Derek Taylor [Beatles press officer]. It's got Johnny Depp written all over it, man.", according to MTV News Australia.
