Teens use two pencils to summon Charlie the demon in scary Internet fad

One of the latest Internet fads is a Twitter trend among teenagers summoning Charlie. The latter is neither a pizza boy nor an ice cream man. Charlie is a demon, Pravda.Ru reports.

The Charlie Charlie Challenge has appeared on Twitter this week and has  already gone viral across social media platforms around the world.

To do the challenge, one is required to put two pencils on paper, placing one pencil perpendicular to the other one, to shape a cross. In the boxes that the two pencils thus outline, one writes the words "yes" and "no." To summon the demon, one is required to say: "Charlie, Charlie, are you here?" and the top pencil turns pointing to yes, Pravda.Ru says.
