Julio Iglesias Marries Longtime Girlfriend in Private Ceremony

Spanish singer Julio Iglesias has wed longtime girlfriend Miranda Rijnsburger. Iglesias and Rijnsburger have been a couple for 20 years. The singer made the marriage announcement in a statement to Spanish newspapers, Hollywood Reporter says.

Iglesias, 66, and Dutch model Rijnsburger 45, who met in Indonesia in 1990, tied the knot in a private ceremony that took place in the parish of Virgin del Carmen church in the posh resort town of Marbella, Spain.

One of the three priests presiding over the ceremony told that the low-key nuptials took place on Tuesday -- with two witnesses and the couple's five children in attendance.

It's the second marriage for the famous singer, who has three children (including singer Enrique Iglesias) with first wife Isabel Preysler, according to Us Magazine.
