The International Educational Consortium has begun its work in Prague with support from the Russian and Belarussian embassies. Russian ambassador to Czechia Igor Savolsky and Belarussian ambassador to Czechia Vladimir Belsky were present at the ceremony of opening the consortium's educational center. According to Professor Leonid Kudinov, D.Sc. (Economics), coordinator of the consortium's educational programmes, the founders of the new international educational structure are the higher school Institute of Management and Marketing of the Academy of the National Economy at the Russian government, the St. Petersburg institute of management and economics, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Belarussian institute of parliamentarism and entrepreneurship, Gomel State University (Belarus), the Czech firm Vemex and the Prague chamber of commerce. "In the countries of Central and Eastern Europe economic reforms are in full swing," noted professor Kudinov. Russia is about to join the world trade community. In his words, the new educational consortium in Prague is designed to help Russian mangers and businessmen to better find their bearings in the constantly changing conditions of the world market. The final aim of the consortium is creating in Czechia an international business school with the participation of Russian educational structures, noted Leonid Kudinov.
