A British woman has given birth to identical triplets in western Austria, a hospital said Wednesday.
The babies - three girls named Amy, Kim and Zoe - were delivered Monday by Caesarean section, a hospital in the city of Feldkirch said in a statement.
The babies, conceived naturally without fertility treatments, weighed in at 1,500 grams (3.3 pounds) and measured 40 centimeters (15.7 inches).
A hospital spokeswoman identified the mother as a 25-year-old British woman who lives in western Austrian.
The hospital said the likelihood of giving birth to identical triplets was 1 in 200 million.
The babies, delivered prematurely, were doing well but were under surveillance in the hospital's intensive care unit.
A photo opportunity was planned for the coming weeks, the hospital said.
