Carnival in Cologne: Do not dare to pee

The participants of the carnival of the German city of Cologne will have to control themselves steadily, since the authorities warned that anyone, who was going to pee outdoors, would have to pay the fine.

The carnival in Cologne is one of the merriest holidays in Germany. This carnival says goodbye to winter, and the citizens go out in the streets, putting on crazy clothes and fancy dresses, they dance, sing and drink beer in the street. The latter is the reason why that fine came up.

The city government of Cologne claimed that a lot of people “were doing this” during the carnival, due to the abundance of beer, so the government had to set the fine in the sum of 10 euro for those, who would be caught during this function of human organism.

“This happens extremely often: men pee totally shameless everywhere - in front of the buildings, even near the monuments and the churches,” – the address of the city government said.
