Opening of an automobile bridge over the Medway river in Kent County, construction of which costs 150 million pounds, is postponed because of a little aquatic worm. The length of the worm is shorter than a nail. The project was suspended for six months when the worms were found in the silt at the bottom of the river.
This kind of worm is included into the Red Book, where all rare and extinct plants and animals are enumerated. Scientists are looking for a new habitation for the worm, as the construction works on the river may destroy the worms living in the water. As soon as a new abode is found for them, all worms from the Medway river will be caught and removed to a new place.
A spokesman for the Environmental Protection Society says: “This kind of worm is rare in the nature, we must preserve it. These little worms are probably not the most attractive creatures on the planet, but like all of us they have the right to exist.”

More than 5.8 million people voted for Nicholas Maduro at the presidential election in Venezuela. This is more than a quarter of registered voters. Why did those people vote for the man, who, as Western media write, took Venezuela to the brink of collapse?
It has long been understood that the West has been trying to subject Russian borders to total control. We have not seen such activity even during the Cold War
