A priest of a church in Omsk Region, father Alexandr has converted the strip of a desolate aerodrome into a vegetable garden. The airport was closed several years ago, so nobody uses the great field now, while the airport building which in fact is a church (and it had been used as a church before the airport was built) was returned to believers.
Since that time, the parish priest has been occupying himself with reconstruction of the church. To help the father to feed himself, local authorities officially apportioned to him a lot, which is in fact the former strip.
The choice of the city of Helsinki is not incidental as the capital of Finland had hosted US-Soviet negotiations on the limitation of nuclear stockpiles in 1969
