Donkey wedding as measure against drought

Southern parts of India are suffering from drought. Do you know the way to pacify the merciless sun? There is only one way out, it is necessary to marry donkeys.

Two little donkeys from a small Indian village proceeded to the church in wedding dresses and garlands of flowers. The God of rain, Varuna, is hoped to be merciful now. Indeed, the wedding ceremony was performed according to the rules: a priest said wedding prayers, and a grand feast was organized for people and donkeys after the ceremony.

It is not ruled out that total climate changes in the world may become the reason for mass marriages among animals. The matter of the fact is, monsoons that are very important for agriculture of southern India, are too late this year. Let us believe, the newly married donkeys will help improve the situation in India.
