Japanese athlete wants to become a man

A well-known Japanese athlete (professional motor boat racer) wants everyone to consider her a man. Tinatsu Ando stressed the beginning of her new life, as she came to the press-conference with journalists, wearing a suit, a white shirt, a tie, and she had her hair cut very short.

At the press-conference she announced that she had submitted an adequate statement to the national Association for motor boat races. Ando would like to have her sex mentioned as male in all documents of the association. She even asked to change her name for a male one – instead of the female name Tinatsu she wants to become Taisio. This will be the name that she will be using at all competitions, in which she (he) will participate.

“I made up the decision that I will take part in the competitions as a man, and I will strive for that,” – said she. She advised that she was taking men’s hormones, and that the doctors had recently agreed for a sex-change operation for her.
