Man-to-man kiss not allowed for Russian politicians

High-ranking officials of the Moscow region government are recommended not to express their emotions through friendly kisses, Moskovsky Komsomolets reports. According to the new regulation, it is highly recommended for Moscow region officials to greet each other with the traditional handshake. It was particularly said that the "kissing ceremony" takes too much time during various officials meetings. This time would be enough to hold several additional meetings during the year.

Rumors say that the head of the Moscow region is not happy with photographs, which appear on the pages of regional newspapers and on the internet. Reporters prefer to photograph kissing officials and put their pictures on front pages of newspapers and magazines to entertain people.
