"He is from a good family. There is something conservative about them, and I believe that such families raise good people," Gorbachev said. Gorbachev also said that he was against a luxuriant wedding: "It will be a good, normal wedding, but not a luxuriant one from the point of view of the Moscow standard. There will not be a lot of people present."
The ex-president said that every guest would have their role at the wedding: "I am supposed to take Ksenia right to Kirill. It will be hard to me to do it, I think it will bring tears to my eyes," Gorbachev said.
