Days of Russian Literature and Spiritual culture begin in Moldova

Days of Russian Literature and Spiritual Culture will begin in Moldova on Tuesday. Meetings with writers, scientific and readers' conferences, presentations of new books, exhibitions of Russian artists, concerts, competitions, folk song evening concerts - such is the list of functions to be conducted under the Days' programme organised by the Congress of Russian Communities of Moldova in Chisinau and ten other cities and towns.

Leader of the Congress Valery Klimenko told RIA Novosti that the organisers want the Days to become a holiday of the Russian word and Slavic soul, and to prove that no matter how much nationalism-minded forces may want it they will not be able to liquidate the Russian literary process, the Russian culture on the Moldovan soil.
