The tour of St. Petersburg's Marriinsky theatre ballet started on Wednesday in Mexico. The performances will be held on the stage of the Mexican capital's main hall, Auditorio Nacional, with 5,000 seats. The tour will last from May 8th till 14th. The Petersburg ballet dancers will perform "Don Quixote" and "The Swan Lake" and will also give a gala. This tour is the theatre's second in Mexico this year. At a press conference in Mexico City it was said that the Russian ballet dancers were expected to come back again next year with the ballet "Romeo and Juliet".
