About 200 enterprises of military-industrial complex to participate in Arms Exhibition

About 200 enterprises of the military-industrial complex will participate in the International Exhibition of Arms and Military Hardware slated to be held in Nizhni Tagil from July 9 to 13. As RIA Novosti was told in the organising committee of the Exhibition, it is presumed that more than 40,000 people will visit it during four days. As many as 1,450 exhibits will be on display and 18 fire practices will be held.

About 180 representatives from 30 foreign states will also take part in the show.

The organising committee officials noted that the exhibition complex, set up in Nizhni Tagil, makes it possible to comprehensively show the advantages of the exhibits on display and to demonstrate their operational and combat characteristics in full. The exhibitions held at the centre of the FGUP Nizhni Tagil Institute of Metals Tests- NTIIM)) in Nizhni Tagil which the Russian Ammunition Agency is in charge of have shown that the centre itself is unique.

The organising committee officials stressed that this exhibition would be the largest in 2002.

According to the organisers' plans, news conferences with the participants and distinguished guests of the exhibition will be broadcast in the real time regime on the official city information server.
