Russian and US teams to hold test-game of Rugby-13 professionals for the first time in Russia

For the first time in Russia the USA and Russian teams will hold a test-game of Rugby-13 professionals on Friday at the grand sports arena of the Luzhniki stadium.

As it was disclosed by the organising committee, it will be an important stage of the preparations period for the 2005 World Cup. The game will start with the one minute of silence in remembrance of the victims of the tragic September events in Moscow (1999) and in New York (2001).

It is the third game between the Russian and American teams. In the first two games (1994, 1995) in a tough competition Russia defeated the US team. The question is whether the Russian team will repeat its success at the artificial field of the Luzhniki stadium grand sports arena.
