Russia, Norway agree on development of sport cooperation

Russia and Norway have agreed on the development of bilateral cooperation in sports.

A relevant memorandum on mutual understanding was signed on Tuesday as part of the visit by Russian State Sports Committee Chairman Vyacheslav Fetisov to Oslo.

The document, which expires on December 31, 2005, outlines the following spheres of cooperation: anti-doping cooperation, the development of sports in the Barents Sea region, sports for invalids, mass sports and the expansion of relations between national federations on different kinds of sport.
