Russian PM on country's nomination for hosting European football championship in 2008

Russia's prime minister Mikhail Kasyanov has commissioned the country's ministries and departments with examining once again the possibility of Russia's nomination for hosting the European football championship in 2008, as RIA Novosti learned in the government information department. The issue was discussed at the prime minister's session with his deputies and other ministers on Monday. Earlier, the idea was dismissed as economically inexpedient, but now the economic aspects of hosting the championship will be reconsidered.
