Exhibition dedicated to St. Petersburg's 300th anniversary opens in Europe Palace in Strasbourg

An exhibition of photos and posters, dedicated to the forthcoming celebrations of the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg's foundation, will open in the Palace of Europe, hosting the autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe /PACE/, on Tuesday.

Secretary-General of the Council of Europe Walter Schwimmer and chairperson of the organising committee of St. Petersburg's anniversary Natalia Batozhok will open the exhibition. In this connection St. Petersburg Mayor Vladimir Yakovlev has sent a special message to the authorities of PACE and the Council of Europe.
