Moscow Police Gets Ready for "Lokomotiv" vs "Milan" Football Game

Approximately 2,500 policemen and Interior Ministry servicemen will provide security at the "Lokomotiv" vs "Milan" football game, which will be held on Tuesday at 20.00 /Moscow time/.

According to the Moscow police department, approximately 30,000 spectators are expected to come to the Moscow Stadium "Lokomotiv". Moscow police will take strict measures concerning security provision at the game. In particular security will be provided by 215 OMON (paramilitary) officers, 700 servicemen of the Interior Ministry's operational detached division, 40 cynologists with dogs and 50 mounted policemen.

The stadium and the territories situated nearby will be searched for explosives before the game. Operational officers will be on duty at metro stations and other places of mass gatherings.
