Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the Bolshoi Theatre's ballet-dancer Nikolai Fadeyechev on his 70th birth anniversary, the presidential press service told RIA Novosti on Monday.
"You conquered the main ballet stage of the country and hearts of millions of admirers, won high professional recognition and sincere love of the audience. It is pleasant that you share your great experience and secrets of virtuoso skills with numerous talented students," reads the presidential message of congratulation.
Vladimir Putin also congratulated ballet-dancer and choreographer Mikhail Baryshnikov on the 55th birth anniversary, the press service added.
"Brilliant talent and rich repertoire - from classics to daring choreographic experiments - enabled you to achieve professional heights and create the world's famous dancing school," the President said.
