Russian Olga Zavyalova Won Gold Medal at the World Ski Championships

On Friday Olga Zavyalova won the first gold medal for the Russian national team at the World Ski Championships in Val di Fiemme in Italy. She was the first in the 30 km classic style race.

Another Russian skier Yelena Borukhina won the silver medal in that race. Kristina Schmigun from Estonia was in the third place.

The World Ski Championship finishes on Saturday, 1 March
