Marcello Lippi, Italy's World Cup-winning coach, extends his break from soccer into next season.
"This summer I'm not going anywhere. My break will last another five or six months," Lippi said in a lecture Thursday at Milan's Catholic University.
Lippi resigned after leading Italy to its fourth World Cup title in Germany last year.
He reiterated that he's received many coaching offers from foreign clubs, but none from Italian teams.
"So I'm going off to the sea," added Lippi, an avid boater.
