A California softball coach was charged with having sexual intercourse with a minor.
The charges were brought last fall, when the police found out that a 17-year-old player had sex with 37-year-old Christopher Joseph Facione on two occasions at his home in the coastal city of Carlsbad.
Facione will get three years and eight months in prison if convicted. Currently he is free on $100,000 bail but is due in court on Thursday.
