Putin and Medvedev to visit International University Games in Kazan

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will visit the XXVII World University Games in Kazan.

Putin will visit the World University Games for the second time this week; the exact date of his visit has not been determined. Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko announced that he wanted to offer the president to visit any competitions that he may choose on the day of his visit.

Dmitry Medvedev will visit the closing ceremony of the Games.

The World University Games began in Kazan on July 6 and will end on July 17. The Russian team has won 115 medals - 62 gold, 26 silver and 27 bronze.
