Dan Klecko joins Philadelphia Eagles

An American defensive tackle, Dan Klecko, has changed not only the team but also his position on the field.

On March 14, 2008, he was signed for 2 years by the Philadelphia Eagles, who intend to convert him to fullback. Klecko will have to lose about 20 pounds to play fullback.

He was originally drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. Later on he also played for the Indianapolis Colts.

He has earned three Super Bowl rings in his career - two with the Patriots and one with the Colts.

Klecko had 47 games in his career with 39 tackles and three sacks. He has caught four passes for 20 yards and a touchdown.
