The boxers will develop the boxing elements of the show which is going to be based on "Rocky", the film.

Stallone played the main part and wrote the script for the film. The motion picture tells the story of a boxer, an outsider, and his fights on and off the ring. There were six "Rocky" films made in total, but the musical is going to be based on the very first one of them.

Stallone is not going to act as an actor for his new show. The premiere is to take place in November 2012 in Germany's Hamburg. The actor also plans to take his musical to Broadway, MIGnews says.

The first film about Rocky had the budget of only one million dollars. However, the film grossed $225 million in box office and received three Oscars.

The budget of Stallone's musical show will reportedly make up $15 million.
