European Gymnastics Championships: Ferrari wins individual all-around finals

World champion Vanessa Ferrari of Italy won the women's individual all-around finals at the European Gymnastics Championships on Saturday.

Ferrari totaled 61.075 points, ahead of second-place Sandra Izbasa of Romania with 59.900 points. Ukraine's Alina Kozich, European champion in 2004, was third with 59.300 points.

Ferrari, who topped the qualifiers in all categories, earned 15.700 points on the bars. The Italian scored 15.600 in the qualifiers Friday.
